International conference on HUNTing for sustainability
The internatiolal conference on hunting for ustainability: ecology, economics and society gathers 150 scientists from more than 30 different countries in Ciudad Real, Spain.
Through a total of 43 oral presentations the conference explores the potential for sustainable use of biodiversity by focusing on an assessment of the interaction between social, cultural, economic and ecological values and impacts on hunting.
On the final day the focus is on policies, hunting and sustainability. Discussing how the multidisciplinary results from the HUNT project should be taken into account when designing policy. Including the future EU policy on hunting and biodiversity conservation.
